About Size Matters

Size Matters is a free online geography game that challenges you to compare two countries by land area or population. Two country outlines appear side by side — your job is to pick the bigger one. It sounds simple, but the comparisons get surprisingly tricky.

With three difficulty levels — Normal, Hard, and Expert — the game scales from accessible geography fun to a serious challenge for geography enthusiasts. Normal mode pairs countries with obvious size differences. Hard and Expert modes pit similarly sized nations against each other, testing the limits of your world geography knowledge.

Choose between Land Area mode (which country covers more km²?) or Population mode (which country has more people?), with names shown or hidden for an extra challenge. Each game is 10 rounds — how many can you get right?
